Meet Katie Miller- Owner

Welcome to  KM Marketing Services!

I believe that in using the four pillars of CONNECTION, GRATITUDE, HUMILITY, and TRUST, we can create optimal exposure and empower your business to achieve marketing goals with style and strategy.

My Background:

I studied at the University of Washington and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater and then started my first business, a theater company. It was my connection with people both on and off stage that  I first experienced my passion to build organic, real-time connections. This is where the foundation of my marketing career was born.

I moved on to spend 10 years in Multi-Family Housing and Commercial Real Estate. I was able to dive deeper into my passion for connection through innovative marketing ideas and exceptional customer experience. My ability to listen, hear, and earn the trust of my customers as well as my clients allowed me to create successful pathways to connection through collaboration.

Today I am grateful to spend the majority of my time as mom, to Mia (10) and Jack (7). My husband and I have a home on Seattle's Eastside where we have become deeply connected to our community. When Mia was born, I chose to leave the corporate world and immersed myself in the ever-busy, non-glamorous (sometimes covered in poop and tears - what mom hasn't been there, right?), always wild life of a stay-at-home mom. During the past ten years, I have served on various boards in leadership marketing roles, including Inglemoor Co-Op Preschool and Arrowhead Elementary School. In 2019 I managed the successful campaign for Kirkland City Councilwoman Amy Falcone. It was through this experience that I was able to meet and join the team at the Greater Kirkland Chamber of Commerce, where I spent two years with the team there. In September 2021, I chose to step back to dedicate my time to my family and growing my business, which is where you can find me today.
